If you're staying in a hotel in Ploce, you'll see this view every time you walk into town! Believe it or not, I took this photo of Dubrovnik's eastern walls in November 2006. Yes, it was warm enough to swim. For an interesting contrast, see this photo of the same view taken in 1996, before Dubrovnik was completely reconstructed.
