Clean, comfortable accommodation is available
in Split's two-star hotels and hostels but the prices aren't much cheaper than Split's
three-star hotels. At least the two-star hotels are well-located
and provide more than the minimum comfort level. Before you decide, make

Fun and well-located, this hostel arranges for activities.
Cro Paradise Hostel
Also nicely located, with a mixture of dorms and private singles and doubles
BB Three Turtles Hostel
English-speaking and with very nice rooms
Hostel Nepot
Right in the center of Diocletian's Palace
Omladinski Hostel
Part of the Dujam Hotel (below), this hostel provides good-sized rooms and clean facilities. There's easy parking and a bus direct to town.
Buzz Hostel
It's a healthy walk to the Old Town but the hostel is right near the beach and leafy Marjan Hill.
Hostel Zeljeznicar
Basic but cheap and a little far from town.
Split Two Star Hotels
Hotel
Dujam
It's not quite walking distance to the town centre but the buses
are frequent and the rooms are comfortable enough.
