Author: Technically it’s the Croatia Boat Show but this annual event is so linked with Split, it’s impossible to separate the two. Anyway, the boat show opened on April 5 and will run through April 13. Some 50,000 visitors are expected to pour into town, inspecting the latest in nautical finery. The boats, their owners, their gadgets and their equipment spreads over 120,000 square meters. Plus, there’s dancing, music and regattas. It really is fun, whether or not you’ve ever been on a yacht or taken even the slightest interest in matters nautical.
