Everybody wants to get in on the action now. Flybe has just announced its summer timetable which includes two new routes from Birmingham to Split and Dubrovnik starting in May 2007.
Re-emerging as a popular leisure destination, this latest move into the south

All well and good but I really don’t see how busy and beautiful Dubrovnik is going to cope with the increase in visitors. They have plenty! Friends of mine just returned from a November jaunt to Dubrovnik. Naturally they were wowed but still found that it was hardly empty of tourists. Split is another matter, of course. People tend not to stay long in Split plus it’s much, much bigger.
