Dentistry on the Croatian Coast

Why not combine a summer holiday with a little tooth whitening? After all, a tan looks so much more alluring with sparkling white teeth! Maybe that’s why the coastal resort of Vodice has rather suddenly become home to a number of dental clinics that cater to foreigners. Although I haven’t tried it myself, this article on dentistry in VodiceĀ  is tempting me to run down and try it out. I’ve visited Vodice quickly and would love to find an excuse to stay a while. Dentistry in Croatia is much cheaper than in the UK. Croatia has decided to take an unconventional approach to tourism - with dentists taking a starring role.
With many questioning the future of mass tourism on the Adriatic Sea, the EU candidate country of 4.5 million has started promoting itself as a dental treatment destination.
Croatian dentists are offering treatments for a fraction of a price of those in Britain, Switzerland, Italy or the United States.
