After its recent announcement of new routes from Rome to Dubrovnik and Split, Easyjet has further pleased Croatia travellers by announcing new routes from London-Stansted to Dubrovnik and Split. Flights to Dubrovnik begin on 15 May and will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flights from Stansted to Split begin on 14 May and will run Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Prices start at the low, low rate of £26.99. Isn’t that good news?

Croatia’s national ferry operator, Jadrolinija, has issued a new set of timetables for local ferries valid only through the month of January. I’ve been using Jadrolinija schedules for many years and, I have to say, I have never seen such a delay in publishing the local ferry schedules. Usually the spring schedules are official by November, at the latest. Now we have to wait and wait. What’s the problem? I don’t know. Especially when other ferry companies have already put out their summer schedules. The convenient “Nona Ana” catamaran that runs from Dubrovnik to Mljet, Lastovo, Sipan and Korcula already has 2010 timetables through August. Check it out here!
