The Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure reports that 18 discount airlines will connect Croatian and various other European cities this summer.
The leader in cheap flights to Croatia is clearly Ryanair which has flights to Rijeka, Osijek, Pula and Zadar from London (Stanstead) Charleroi, Dublin, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Marseille, Pescara, Pisa and Stockholm. Booking is not yet open for all these routes so check the airline website frequently. Most routes begin service around the end of March at the earliest.
Croatian newspapers report that more low-cost carriers are awaiting government approval for even more cheap flights.
